Testimonials for workshops
Hanita from Stony Brook
It was an excellent workshop, Cynthia. I feel inspired and energized to tackle things in my house. Thank you for sharing your home as a learning opportunity and providing so many great tips.
I thought the workshop's was very useful, informative and motivating. I got a lot of great tips that I'm eager to put into action, like getting boxes for memorabilia and implementing a file system along the lines you recommend. This is the second workshop I've attended that you gave and it's such a pleasure to be in your beautiful, well organized home and come away with many new ideas, tips, tools and inspiration. It's so helpful too, to learn from the other participants and be able to share with the group. You create a very welcoming environment for all of this to happen
Dianne from Riverhead
Carol and I thank you for a wonderful workshop. I am amazed at how you have found solutions and tools to help your clients regain and maintain organization in their homes, and and lives. It was just the boost that I need to get back on track and keep the momentum going. Also thank you for sending me the info regarding the handyman services. I'll will definitely contact them.

I was so VERY impressed with your seminar yesterday. You did such a fabulous job!! I am extremely proud of you! You have so much positive energy and you are so personable! You have so MANY strengths that come across loud and clear---first it is most obvious how much you love what you do! Your caring attitude is shown loud and clear. You are then so knowledgeable and talented ! Your professional presentation is beyond outstanding! Wow!
Thank you! I cannot say enough how impressed I was with your professional presentation.

I did and am so excited about it! I had a room that was filled with papers and old magazines and junk and I have been going through it. I have recycled tons of papers and have sent my husband off to work with bags and bags of paperwork to shred. There was no way that I had the time to shred all the paperwork and he has a bin in his office where Shred It comes weekly or bi weekly and it is gone. I am still working on the room as it takes a lot of time, but I am so happy with the progress I have made so far.
My husband and I had taken a trip to the Container Store in NYC and bought a few things to help organize this same room. I just need a little more time in my hectic life to conquer more!
I am so glad that I went to your seminar. At first I didn't feel like I got that much out of it, but I certainly did. I would have never conquered this room because it was so overwhelming that I used to just shut the door and forget about it. You had given me the "power" to conquer it! Thanks again!

As I am moving closer and closer to my weight loss surgery date. I have been really cleaning house! I have been removing so much clutter and organizing myself and I feel so much better about myself because of it. I got so much more out of the Organize Your Kitchen to Lose Pounds Workshop than I ever anticipated.

I have known Cynthia for 10 years and have been at her house hundreds of times but never realized how very organized she was. I learned so much and took 4 pages of notes. I learned How to decide what to keep or part with how to memorialize kids' projects without keeping the actual project. Not only was the workshop informative, we had a lot of fun watching Cynthia do her thing. She is very honest and patient and didn't make anyone feel threatened to ask even the obvious questions.
Allison from Dix Hills
It was such a personal experience, especially since you took us into your home and showed us the way everything works behind the scenes. You acknowledged each person, their background, and how you had a connection with each participant. Everyone felt comfortable asking questions, and peeking through your drawers, which is usually perceived as an invasion of privacy. Even though I am in college and don't have a stable home, I was exposed to a TON of good organizing skills that I can implement in my life for years to come.
Jean from Port Jeff

I just wanted to let you know I had a great time at the recent organizing workshop at your home! I definitely picked up some very helpful tips! Also, the 2 hours you spent helping me organize my home office was the best money I ever spent. More important than clearing out the clutter, you really helped me change the way I look at things. My husband can't believe i no longer save any receipts to match to my monthly credit card statements.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

You beat me to it. I was going to write to you to thank you and tell you how much I enjoyed the day.
I was just looking at ALL the photos. I'm still in awe. You are an amazing woman. It's great that you can maintain such organization in every room of your house on a daily basis. And to be able to teach all of these skills to your children is even better.
I don't know too many people that would be willing to let strangers open EVERY drawer in their house (and take photos!!!). And it was truly such a pleasure to see it all so neat and organized.
You lived up to your family mission statement because you created a warm ambiance in your home and made it a place your family would want to come home to.
I enjoyed the beautiful backyard and surroundings, as well. The snack and lunch were delicious. You're the hostess with the mostess.
Your house is beautifully decorated and you clearly have a creative side/touch.
I still don't understand how you don't have a TO DO list and lots of extraneous papers. Perhaps, one day, I need to follow you (like a shadow) while you live and work.
Just from today alone I have a to do list. Example: Things to buy (dryel, miracle wash cloth, magic eraser, wine out) (and bring coupons for Bed Bath and Beyond); Take camera memory chip to make certain prints; contact Hi Tech Photo about VCR conversion; google jewelry armoire (for my daughter); implement any of your ideas, or purge a room, etc. And that's in addition to following up on other things that I have going on in my life, or that I did this weekend. I'm lucky enough to have an assistant that can help me implement some of it.
I just don't understand how you don't have a list of things you need to do tomorrow or this week, for example, relating to the children (things involving: the end of the school year, school or sporting events, gifts for teachers, sweet 16 gifts for your daughter's friends, outfits and accessories for your daughter to attend sweet 16s, getting ready for camp, getting ready for finals, etc).
I'd love to know your secret.
Thanks again for a lovely day. I'll ask my 2 daughters whether they have an interest in attending on August 2nd.
Lea from Plainview
Thank you Cynthia. It was a lot to take in, but I wanted to thank you for the lovely afternoon. I got a lot out of it. Hope to see you soon.
Pam from E. Northport
Thank you so much for your great presentation, the tour of your
AMAZING house, and your hospitality. It was a wonderful day! You
really do practice what you preach - you have got to be the most
organized person on the planet!!
Thanks again for a great day!!
Stamatia from Huntington
Thank you so much for a wonderful, fun and informative day on Sunday at your workshop . I thought you did a really wonderful job on the seminar and during the walk-through. Your home is beautiful and a true testament that having a lot of stuff is doable as long as you're organized! The walk-through also helped to reinforce all of the things that I've learned from you in the past five months. It was truly a terrific day. Thanks again!
Patti
Thank you so much to you and your family for opening your home to everyone. I had a wonderful time . You were more than generous with your time. You are with me in spirit every day at home and at work; I am trying each day to get a little more organized and I hear your words in my head all the time: . Thank you and I look forward to the next time we get to work together - even if it's not for awhile:(

Sorry I haven't got back to you but I was so busy taking care of Fall things (garage sale and I put a floor in my attic to have more storage). I used your ideas about using storage bins. I must of spent at least 200 dollars. I label them and I divided the attic into sections and categories.
Then I organized more than half of my kitchen cabinets-separating
baking items, all breakfast foods, pots and pans.
That's all I did so far because I fell and broke my ankle and a week
later developed a "Frozen Shoulder". I never had time to download
pictures I took from camera because I was busy at work. I hoping I
will do that while I'm home recuperating. I been shredding 20 years
of taxes I had in my attic- not fun!
I just wanted to tell u that I really enjoyed your workshop and hope to continue to organize when I can get around better!
